Say it Ain't So...Manny on Dope

Although, now that I think about it, Manny Ramirez as a recreational drug user isn't such a shocking mental image. Still, my God. This is absolutely depressing.

worried about what happens to dodgers offense
although this may finally bump kemp up in the order

  2. Emotional aspects aside, this is bad, bad Fantasy news for Casey Blake.

  3. i thought 50 games was only for steroid
which reports are saying it definitely was not

    fantasy again
if pierre gets playing time i cant see him bumping furcal/hudson at top of the order so 8th for him?
id go nuts if torre goes pierre/furcal/hudson
    and keeps bottom unchanged

  4. Yeah, I had one friend suggest, "a Haitian virility treatment from the 14th century," which seems about on the mark. Manny getting banned for taking some totally insane but unrelated-to-baseball herbal medication, while disappointing, is at least not totally demoralizing.

Casey Blake needs someone at the top of the order to bat him in whenever he draws the inevitable walk. Matt Kemp not batting directly in front of Casey Blake would be stats gold for Matt Kemp. I hope he gets moved up, too.

  8. I count every hit by Blake as a small miracle. This is probably not the kind of lack of confidence that Fantasy managers should have in their players, but there you go.
