About Putting Most of One's Eggs Under One Umbrella

Five of my nine starters washed away by rain in New York City today. Oh my.

Grady can you please just get a hit?

  1. The upside to this is that a double-header is in the future. Hopefully the double-header occurs when you are up against arbitup or Vaggie Burgers again, unless another team takes over and becomes the new "Fucking Andy [negligent manager of arbitup]!" or "Pukilis."

(Now that I think about it, I'm afraid Andy's going to neglect his team to the point where someone notifies him of this neglect, and then he's going to turn a Jimmy Dugan and bring arbitup to the World Series like Jimmy did for the Rockford Peaches. MUST DESTROY ARBITUP!)

  4. Also, after I wrote this post, Joe Torre benched Casey Blake and Manny Ramirez. I HOPE THEY ENJOYED THEIR STUPID VACATION.

Actually, Casey Blake came in late in the Dodgers game and went 0/1. That's my boy!
